The collection "Food Passions" was conceived as an experimental project.

I have never worked in the direction of surrealism. It was a very interesting experience. I had to think about which food combinations are ideal for me, think over the composition, come up with characters and show the passion between the characters. The paintings in this series have three-dimensional elements made of polymer clay, so it was necessary to work on this part too.

That's how wonderful paintings appeared: "Two halves" is the story of a pomegranate that is self-sufficient and does not require another partner; "Russian Love" is a very Russian story about onions and kebabs; "It is love that is not allowed" is about a very tasty and forbidden by nutritionists pair of French fries and a cheeseburger; "Pad Thai" is about the perfect Thai noodles with shrimp; "Sushi time" - about the wonderful Japanese cuisine, and many other paintings in this collection.

Some of these paintings were exhibited at exhibitions, and now many of them are in private collections.

Anyway, the idea of this collection was to shake up the imagination of the viewer, remind him of his perfect taste compositions, and show that the fruit on the plate is not just fruit, but, as usual, is only a point of view. In the end, I think the collection was successful.

So enjoy the collection of love, beauty, tastes, harmony, desire, and proportionality.
